Biking, Nordic Skiing

Isabel Warner

I’m Isabel Warner, an upcoming Jackson Hole Community School senior. I love to be active! I’ve been racing my bike since sixth grade with the Teton Valley composite bike team and at a variety of local races. For the past two years I have raced Pierre’s hole. I love to ride competitively and I also enjoy bike packing with my family. In the winter, I trade my bike in for Nordic skis and enjoy downhill and backcountry skiing as well. Strength training with Wright Training sets me up for success in all my sports by creating a great foundation for injury prevention and increased power. I started at WrightTraining a couple of summers ago with teen fit and have always appreciated their commitment to teaching good form, especially to younger athletes.

Wrestling

Tai McBride

My name is Tai McBride, and I am an upcoming senior at Jackson Home Highschool. I’ve been wrestling for 10 years, and working out at Wright Training for 7. As a year round athlete I love to push myself to the limit and Wright Training allows me to do so in a healthy manner. To me, being a Wright Training Athlete means to be both mentally and physically prepared for competition!

Nordic skiing, skiing, biking

Peter S. Warner

I am a rising sophomore at Middlebury college in Vermont and a member of the varsity Nordic ski team as well as the club cycling team. Outside of training for Nordic I am a mechanic at open range cycles in the summers and love to explore the Tetons and big holes both on foot and on my mountain bike. This summer I am looking forward to racing the Pierre’s Hole MTB race and exploring some new zones in the Tetons.

I get nervous sometimes usually before the first race of the season or before championship competition but I feel like I have raced enough that I know what to expect and be prepared for it.

How has strength training helped your sports?

strength training is defiantly a key part of my training it helps both with my performance and keeping the specific muscle groups used to ski strong as well as staying balanced and injury free during the season.
