Brett has always had a passion for sports. Growing up in the rural community of Mott, North Dakota, there wasn’t much else to do but join some of the few sports that were offered there. As soon as he was able he started playing basketball and football. During his years of playing, there were very few opportunities for training, until his senior year when a weights class was offered. That year Brett gained a new level of confidence and felt stronger and faster than ever. This inevitably was what steered him in the direction of athletic performance and strength training. After Highschool, Brett attended North Dakota State University where he received his degree in Exercise Science. During his college years, Brett worked at an athletic performance gym in Fargo where he trained athletes ranging in age/ability from grade school to professionals. He also worked and interned for general adult fitness gyms in the area giving him a feel for a new avenue of training.

Now more excited than ever, Brett gets to combine his two areas of expertise and work with adult mountain athletes, while also getting to enjoy his first winter in the mountains! Brett is still a huge sports fan and loves to play basketball when he can, but has a new found love for snowboarding, hiking, and kayaking.
