Lindsay's personal mission is to use movement, experiences, and reflection to help others realize that they are both strong and capable of handling anything thrown their way in life. Her avenues for doing this are through work as a strength coach for Wright Training, a certified life coach (CLC) for Lindsay Nohl Coaching, and as a PMBIA certified mountain bike coach.
Lindsay spent her childhood playing numerous sports, but honed in on soccer as her favorite. She was a former division I college soccer player for the College of William & Mary and had short stints as a professional player in the WUSA and for the Everton Football Club in Liverpool, England. Post-soccer career she spent the last two decades leading trips and running programs in the mountains and desert for NOLS.
Lindsay has always embraced the “weight room” and spent time after college training and competing in various olympic weightlifting competitions and eventually working out in Crossfit gyms. Most recently, she’s used strength training as a way to personally stay fit and healthy for long endurance mountain bike events.
She’s excited about coaching the mountain athlete because she feels passionate about the outdoors and how nature affects both physical and mental health. She also knows the demands of playing in the mountains and is excited to help people gain strength in a holistic way for the unique demands of rugged backcountry sports.
