Elsa Smith

Coach

Born and raised in Jackson Hole, WY, Elsa spent her formative years surrounded by a community passionate about staying strong, healthy, and connected to the environment around them. Motivated by her skiing career, Elsa began training with Crystal Wright and Rob Shaul as a tween, and has been a firm believer in the benefits of strength training ever since. Her upbringing and experience with strength training played a large role in her academic career, in which she graduated from the University of Montana in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Physiology and Athletic Training. Elsa’s experience coaching in multiple gyms with different approaches, as well as her thorough understanding of exercise physiology, has given her a well-rounded perspective on what it means to be strong. As a coach, Elsa places an emphasis on good body mechanics, intentional movement, breathing, and adherence to training. She wants her clients to feel confident in their training approach and never confused. She loves questions and forming strong lines of communication with everyone she coaches!

Outside of the gym, Elsa loves surfing (in the ocean and on rivers in Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming), skiing, and complaining about the traffic.
